DAY 1 : CASABLANCA – RABAT -  CHEFCHAOUEN

We will meet you at Casablanca airport, you will visit best of Casablanca including Hassan II Mosque, and then we will drive to Rabat, where we visit Hassan II Tower,Oudayas Kasbah, and we continue driving towards Rif mountains and Chefchaouen, the white-blue city where we stay overniight in local riad.

DAY 2: CHEFCHAOUEN FREE PROGRAM

Situated high in the Rif Mountains, this charming city was founded in 1471,initially built as a small fortress to ward off the Portuguese invaders who were intent on dominating northern Morocco.in 1920,the Spanish armies seized Chefchaouen and held it until 1956 when Morocco finally gained independence. The influence of the times gone by is still reflected in chefchaouen. The architecture today,for instance,is a heady mix of Moorish design flavored with the more ornate Spanish influence. Legend has is that Chefchaouen derived its name from the surrounding Rif range that resembles two chaouen or goat’s horns.The city lies between the “horns’ hence the name. DAY 3: CHEFCHAOUEN TO FEZ

Transfer from Chefchaouen to Fez,overnight in local riad. Free program afternoon.

DAY 4: FEZ MEDINA GUIDED EXCURSION

The whole day is devoted to tour this UNESCO World Heritage City with our local guide. Sightseeing of Fez includes the medieval medina with its Attarine and Bou Anania Medersas, the Nejjarine fountain, the jewish area – El mellah, the Moulay Idriss mausoleum and the Karaouine mosque. Afternoon visit of Fez al Jdid – new Fez.  Overnight in local riad.

DAY 5: FEZ TO MERZOUGA VIA MIDDLE ATLAS MOUNTAINS AND RISSANI

In the morning we pick up at the hotel or riad. We will leave toward the desert along the way Merzouga. We will find a town called Ifrane, a charming and totally different from the rest of Morocco where is the Cedar Forest, here we can see a lot of monkeys where they we can feed and enjoy the many cedars that brings this forest.We will go through Midelt, located between the Middle Atlas and the High Atlas, we stop for lunch and continue the route. We will continue the road to Erfoud, crossing the Ziz Valley. Then we will drive to Merzouga, overnight in desert hotel with dinner.

DAY 6: MERZOUGA DESERT 4X4 EXCURSION

Today we will have circuit excursion around desert by 4×4. We will visit oases, nomad people and also Khamlia village (famous for its music). In the evening we take the camel trek across the dunes to desert camp where we stay overnight in comfortable tents. We will watch an amazing sunset in the desert.

DAY 7: MERZOUGA - TODRA VAEY - DADES GORGES

The next morning we will wake up early to watch the sunrise. After camel trekking, we will drive to Rissani and we continue to Todra Gorges, through the vast palm grove of Tinerhir, where agriculture stand out, date palms, crafts … Later we arrive at the gorge. Here we can see the spectacular landscape for thousands of years has been forged thanks to the river that crosses. We will continue to the Dades Valley and we can admire the hundreds of kasbash dotted along the route. We continue on river road entering the narrow valley. Here we will have dinner and spend the night in local riad with dinner.

DAY 8: DADES GORGES - OUARZAZATE – MARRAKECH

Today after breakfast, we will pass the oasis of Skoura crossing the Valley of Roses is for medby hectares of roses, whose aroma can be seen throughout the month of May. Here you can see beautiful scenery. I continue to the fortified city called Ait Ben Haddou, a World Heritage Site by Unesco in 1987 and various famous movies have been made as Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator, The Mummy …Later, we will travel through the Tizi N’Tichka, where we will stop to enjoy the scenery and take pictures. At the end of the road we arrive in Marrakech and this will be the end of our services.

DAY 9: MARRAKECH GUIDED TOUR IN CITY

After pickup from your central Marrakech hotel, travel by air-conditioned vehicle to the start point of your tour in old Marrakech. Along the way, hear about the souks crammed into Marrakech’s medina, and listen as your guide gives you a taster of the wares sold at their stalls and workshops. On arrival, dive into the souks on foot with your knowledgeable guide leading the way. Meander through the bustling lanes, passing stands peddling fresh foods, spices, hand-painted ceramics, leather, rugs and other goodies.  Your guide will show you the way around the best souks, point out interesting stalls and give you pointers about the products for sale. Next, spill out into Djemaa El-Fna, Marrakech’s central square. Wander around the stalls and drink in the vibrant street theater played out before you by the acrobats, snake charmers, musicians and other artistes. Break from your retail roving with a visit to Medersa ben Youssef, a nearby medieval Islamic college whose roots go back to the 14th century.  End of tour.
