DAY 1 : TANGIER – CHEFCHAOUEN
Pick up at the airport or ferry. We started the route through Chefchaouen. Village tucked between mountains and fields of the Rif. At a first sight seems a typical Spanish Mediterranean city with white houses and indigo tones. But upon entering the medina we can already feel the Moorish culture. The medina is very calm and quiet because it is not allowed to enter cars, as are parked outside. Dinner and overnight at the Riad. Visit places of interest include: The Makhzen square, the Kebir Mosque, Mellah, Jewish quarter
DAY 2: CHEFCHAOUEN -
After breakfast departure for the roman city of volubilis listed word heritage by Unesco, guided visit, then road to Meknes, for historical visit the imperial city of the King Moulay Ismail, listed Unesco word heritage: the Granary, the stable for 12000 horses and the gate Bab El Mansour, the most shouted gate in Morocco. Departure for Fez, arrival and panoramic tour to discover Fez differently. Overnight in hotel or riad.
DAY 3: FEZ GUIDED EXCURSION
Enjoy breakfast before heading out for your tour of Fez, a city renowned for its Imperial splendor. From the comfort of your coach, admire sights such as Fez Royal Palace, the Christian and Jewish quarters, and the enchanting medina: the city’s UNESCO World Heritage-
DAY 4: FEZ -
After breakfast we continue our private Morocco tour and we head towards Ifrane, referred to as “the Switzerland of Morocco”. We stop at Azrou, a Berber village near cedar forest, where we may well watch Barbarian apes. Then we’ll travel through Ziz valley passing few Berber villages to Erfoud and then Rissani. In Merzouga we stay for dinner and breakfast in local hotel.
DAY 5: EXCURSION IN SAHARA DESERT & MERZOUGA DESERT
Today we put our 4 x 4 vehicle to work. We will travel into the Sahara desert a unique environment full of unusual attractions and the simple nomadic Berber people. We will stop at Sirji Lake and its white birds. We will visit a home of some Berber nomads and learn about their culture. Near lunchtime we will enter Rissani where we will have a short visit to the market of Sijilmassa. After lunch we return back to Merzouga to greet our camels who are waiting to take us on another adventure in the sand dunes. This will be a much slower travel into the dunes to spend the night in a bivouac (tents) fully equipped for the night spent in the heart of the Sahara. Trek to the top of the nearest dune to watch the sunset and enjoy the traditional meal served by the Berber guides and their music.
DAY 6: MERZOUGA -
Today our private Tangier tour continues and we ride camels back to Merzouga. After breakfast and shower we drive to Rissani, then Tinghir and Todra gorges. It is the highest and narrowest gorges in Morocco. After lunch here we’ll pass the Dades valley and the amazing rock formations known as monkey toes. We spend overnight in traditional riad / hotel with dinner and breakfast.
DAY 7: DADES GORGES – OUARZAZATE -
After breakfast we’ll drive towards Kalaat Mgouna ,the rose city, where we may purchase the rosewater, local famous product made by roses. Our private Morocco tour continues to Ait Ben Haddou , to visit local Kasbah, the largest Kasbah in Morocco. Then we continue passing Tizi n’ Tichka mountain pass to reach Marrakech.
