DAY 1 : TANGIER
Upon your arrival in Tangier Airport or ferry port, we welcome you, and then we transfer you to your accommodation. Free program.
DAY 2 : TANGIER – CHEFCHAOUEN
After breakfast we departure to Chefchaouen , the city held a sacred time and therefore prohibited to foreigners. The Andalusian atmosphere and the quiet rhythm make it one of the major tourist centres of Morocco. Dinner and overnight.
DAY 3: CHEFCHAOUEN -
Travel from Chefchaouen to Fez. It founded the city in 808 by a descendant of the Prophet Muhammad, a “cherif”, ie a man and a holy. The old city, the medina, has remained virtually unchanged from the ninth century to the present. It is an open air museum, where time seems to stand still. Its medina, the largest and most famous in the Arab world, is a labyrinth of colours, where you can move only on foot, and there are so narrow streets that are hard to pass in two. Dinner and overnight in local hotel.
DAY 4: FEZ GUIDED EXCURSION
Enjoy full day with guided tour of the oldest of the imperial cities. Founded in 808 as the first political, religious and cultural capital. We started the visit by the Golden Gate of the Royal Palace. Later, from an elevated point we will observe the wall that encloses an impressive and old medina. We then walk on foot experiencing the hundreds of sensations that wake up. We will discover mosques and medersas, karabansarais and religious places until arriving at the barriode of the tanners. Free time for lunch and we continue visiting the neighborhood of the artisans. They brought their knowledge from Spain and have maintained the Andalusian art and style to this day giving Fez the deserved name of the city of artisans. Accommodation in hotel/riad.
DAY 5: FEZ -
Today we enjoy a journey along the beautiful southeast road, where we will experience a damatic change in the landscapes, from the green fields of Fes to the Cedar and cool weather of Ifrane, the most beautiful city in Morocco. We continue the way to a more desert like landscape as we approach the town of Midelt the Apple Capital of Morocco, then we hit the road further south to join to the pearl of the south, the town of Merzouga. Night at a hotel in the edge of Erg Chebbi.
DAY 6: EXCURSION IN SAHARA DESERT & MERZOUGA DESERT
Today we explore desert and the city of RISSANI, economic capital of southern Morocco and first imperial city of the country, the souk under the red arches and its many ksours. Then continue along the track of the Rallye Paris-
DAY 7: MERZOUGA -
Today we will get up early to see the spectacular sunrise over the sand dunes before returning to the hotel by camels for breakfast and shower. Later, we will drive through the mountains. We will arrive at the Todra gorges where we will enjoy a traditional Moroccan lunch and take a short walk through the gorge before arriving at Dades Valley for dinner and accommodation.
DAY 8: DADES GORGES – OUARZAZATE -
Today we will cross the Dades valley towards Kalaa M’gouna and Ouarzazate. The road through the Dades Valley is the route of the thousand Kasbahs – offering many opportunities to take some of your best photographic shots. We will stop at Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou for lunch, the largest kasbah in Morocco. After that, we will cross the high mountains of the atlas with panoramic views and pretty Berber villages all the way to Marrakech.
DAY 9: EXCURSION IN MEDINA OF MARRAKECH
Today after breakfast you will be joined by an official local guide to see all the sites with historical and cultural interest, including the Koutoubia Menaret; the Saadian tombs; the beautiful Palace of Bahia and the Ben Youssef koranic School. Finally, end the morning by walking through the medina alleys -
DAY 10: MARRAKECH AIRPORT TRANSFER
